Three Wisconsin tickets miss just one number as $208.6 million

jackpot won in state


 

(Madison) — One Wisconsin Lottery player is holding the sole winning ticket in the Saturday, August 5 Powerball drawing, a ticket worth $208.6 million sold at Ma & Pa Grocery Express, 506 S. Main St. in Fond du Lac.  In addition, three tickets in Wisconsin matched four of five numbers plus the Powerball, making them worth $10,000 each. 

 

        The $10,000 winning tickets were sold at: 

        ·      Van Zeeland Oil Co., 105 W. Northland in Appleton

        ·      Lake Geneva Shell, 501 N. Interchange in Lake Geneva

        ·      Mellen Shell, 101 Wilderness Dr. in Mellen

 

        Because the jackpot was hit last night, the new jackpot for Wednesday, August 9 is $15 million.  Last night’s winning numbers were 02, 03, 09, 48, and 50.  The Powerball was 23 and the Power Play multiplier was 2. 


 

No one matched all six Megabucks numbers to win the jackpot in the Saturday, August 5 drawing.  The new jackpot for Wednesday, August 9 climbs to $10.8 million.  Saturday night’s winning Megabucks numbers were 01, 03, 10, 19, 23, and 44.
