(Madison)—Christmas came just a little early for one lucky Megabucks player who matched all six numbers in the Saturday, December 24 Megabucks drawing to win an $11.1 million jackpot.  The winning ticket was sold at Gary’s Beer & Liquor, 9555 S. Howell Ave. in Oak Creek.  

The winning numbers were 08, 11, 19, 27, 39, and 40.  It’s the largest Megabucks jackpot won since April 10, 2002 when a $13.5 million winning ticket was sold in Reedsburg.

The ticket holder has 180 days from Christmas Eve to claim the $11.1 million prize.  Lottery offices will be closed on Monday, December 26 making Tuesday, December 27 the first opportunity to do so.   

Gary’s Beer & Liquor receives a $100,000 winning ticket commission for selling the winning ticket.  Lottery retailers who sell a winning ticket of $600 or more receive 2% of the prize, up to a maximum of $100,000.
