Two Jackpots in one night!
$36.8 million Powerball jackpot ticket sold in Wisconsin
$1.9 million Megabucks prize also won

(Madison)—Wisconsin Lottery players claimed TWO major jackpots Saturday night, purchasing winning tickets in BOTH the $36.8 million Powerball drawing and the $1.9 million Megabucks jackpot drawing!

A ticket sold in Thiensville at Thiensville Self Serve, 301 N. Main Street, matched all six winning numbers in Saturday’s $36.8 million Powerball drawing. The winning Powerball numbers were 09, 11, 22, 24, 43. The Powerball was 02 and the PowerPlay prize multiplier was 04.

This is the 11th Powerball jackpot winning ticket sold in Wisconsin since the game began in 1992.The last Powerball jackpot winner in Wisconsin was in July of 2000, when a Germantown mother and son claimed a $10 million prize.

For selling the winning Powerball ticket, the Thiensville Self Serve earns a $100,000 commission from the Wisconsin Lottery.

While Ozaukee County was producing a Powerball winner, Dane County was producing a Megabucks jackpot winner.A ticket sold at Kwik Trip, 436 W. Main St. in Marshall matched all six winning numbers in Saturday’s $1.9 million Megabucks drawing. The winning Megabucks numbers were 05, 13, 20, 43, 45 and 46.

For selling that $1.9 million winner, Kwik Trip earns a $38,000 commission from the Lottery.

This is the 57th Megabucks jackpot ticket sold since the game began in 1992. The last Megabucks jackpot winner in Wisconsin was in November 2004, when a Palmyra man claimed a $1.1 million prize.

Both of Saturday’s jackpot winners have 180 days to claim their prizes at the Lottery’s headquarters in Madison. Their first opportunity to do so will be Monday, January 10
