Two winners split $106,000 Badger 5 jackpot

Winning tickets sold in Chippewa and Waukesha counties

(Madison)—Wisconsin Lottery players in Holcombe and New Berlin are celebrating the Memorial Day weekend with a share of Saturday night’s $106,000 Badger 5 jackpot. Each player matched all five winning numbers in the May 28 drawing to earn half of the jackpot. Those winning Badger 5 numbers were 13, 18, 21, 22 and 23.

The two winning tickets worth $53,000 each were sold at Lake Holcombe C-Store, 26473 Hwy. 27 in Holcombe and Tobacco Outlet Plus, 3620 S. Moorland Rd. in New Berlin.

The ticket-holders have 180 days from Saturday night’s drawing to claim their prizes. Each of the Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sold the winning tickets earns a $2,120 commission from the Lottery.

Badger 5 is a $1 daily game with jackpots that start at $10,000 and grow a minimum of $1,000 a day until they are won. Players win the rolling jackpot by matching their five numbers to the five winning numbers drawn each night.
