Idaho ticket hits $220 million jackpot

Wisconsin has 11 major prize winners in eight counties


 

(Madison) — A ticket sold in Idaho matched all six winning numbers in the Saturday, May 28 $220.3 million Powerball drawing. The winning numbers were 05, 07, 24, 28, 39 and the Powerball was 36. The PowerPlay prize multiplier was 04.

 

Wisconsin had 11 major winners in Saturday night’s drawing.

 

A $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold at Waterford Junction Amoco, 815A Fox Lane, Waterford.

 

Eight Wisconsin Lottery players won $5,000 Saturday night. Those winning tickets were sold in/by:

 

Barnes           Homestead Station & Store, 3610 Co. Hwy N (Bayfield Co.)

Franklin          Pick ‘n Save, 7201 S. 76th St.

Green Bay     Cub Foods, 2280 e. Mason St.

Madison         Capitol Centre Foods, 111 N. Broom St.

Milwaukee     J & M Citgo, 8334 W. Appleton Ave.

Oak Creek     Tri-City Pick ‘n Save, 6462 S. 27th St.

Waukesha      Fox River Mart, 401 E. North St.

Waupaca        Bonson’s of Waupaca, 955 W. Fulton, Suite A

 

Two other players who would have won $5,000 also purchased the PowerPlay option for their set of numbers and multiplied their prizes to $20,000 each.  Those two PowerPlay $20,000 tickets were sold at Holiday Stationstore, 2806 Golf Rd., Eau Claire and at Citgo at Grand Avenue, 304 N. Grand Ave., Waukesha.

 

The Powerball jackpot returns to $10 million for the Wednesday, June 1 drawing.
