Largest Jackpot in Powerball History
Wisconsin has 9 major prize winners

(MADISON)-- The Powerball jackpot is still up for grabs!  The jackpot now grows to $340 million for Wednesday’s draw making it the largest jackpot in Powerball history and the second largest jackpot in the world.

The numbers drawn Saturday night were 1, 7, 8, 34 and 45 and the Powerball was 15. The Power Play multiplier was 3.

Players should carefully check their tickets after every draw. Even though there wasn’t a jackpot winner last night there are always tens of thousands of winners at other prize levels across the nation.  Last night, over 160,000 Wisconsin players won a total of more than $820,000 in cash prizes.

Wisconsin also had 9 major winners at the $10,000 cash prize level.  The winning tickets were sold at the following locations:

·                     Ottos Wine Cask, 4600 W. Brown Deer Road in Brown Deer

·                     Gramps Inc, 338 E. Walworth Avenue in Delevan

·                     Freemont Mobil Mart, 302 W. Main Street in Fremont

·                     Peters Food & Deli, 5090 W. College Ave. in Greendale

·                     Shell Travel Mart, 124 W. McCoy Blvd. in Tomah

·                     Pick N Save 220 E. Sunset Drive in Waukesha

Winners should sign the back of their ticket in the space provided.  Cash prizes can be redeemed at any Lottery Retailer or Lottery office.  Cash prizes $600 or greater need to be redeemed at any Lottery office.

If the $340 million annuity jackpot is hit in Wisconsin on Wednesday night, the winner would take home, after taxes, $232 million.  If a person decides to take the immediate lump sum cash option which is sitting at $164.6 million, after taxes they would take home $112 million.

Powerball is played in 27 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
