Powerball jackpot climbs to $179 million

        (Madison) —No one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball number in the Saturday, September 16 Powerball drawing to win the jackpot, pushing the new jackpot for Wednesday, September 20 to $179 million.  There was one $10,000 winning ticket, sold at D & D Gas Plus, 26145 W. Mondovi St. in Eleva.

        Saturday night’s winning numbers were 07, 08, 26, 27, and 42. The Powerball was 12 and the Power Play prize multiplier was 5.

No one matched all six Megabucks numbers to win the jackpot in the Saturday, September 16 drawing, pushing the new jackpot for Wednesday, September 20 to $13.3 million.  Saturday night’s winning Megabucks numbers were 04, 08, 14, 19, 45, and 47.  The Megabucks jackpot is currently the third largest jackpot in the U.S.
