Megabucks jackpot third largest in the U.S.

$10,000 Powerball winning tickets in Milwaukee, Racine and

Rusk Counties

(Madison) — Wisconsin had three $10,000 winning tickets in the Wednesday, September 27 Powerball drawing.  The winning tickets were sold at:

       ·      Rice’s Liquor, 681 Milwaukee Ave. in Burlington

       ·      The Tony Depot, W6164 Highway 8 in Tony

       ·      Speedway, 9111 W. National Ave. in West Allis

No one in any state matched all five numbers plus the Powerball to win the jackpot, so the new jackpot for Saturday, September 30 is $15 million.    Wednesday night’s winning numbers were 23, 28, 33, 35, and 49. The Powerball was 16 and the Power Play prize multiplier was 3.

No one matched all six Megabucks numbers to win the jackpot in the Wednesday, September 27 drawing, pushing the new jackpot for Saturday, September 30 to $13.9 million.  Wednesday night’s winning Megabucks numbers were 02, 05, 08, 17, 37, and 46.

Saturday’s $13.9 million jackpot is currently the third largest jackpot in the country, behind just California SuperLotto and Powerball.  It’s the fourth largest jackpot in Megabucks history and the largest since the record $20.3 million jackpot in August 2001.
