MADISON, Wis. -- How does multiplying your Lottery winnings by 10 sound? It happened last night in Cross Plains.
A winning $10,000 Mega Millions ticket, with a 10X Multiplier, was sold at Kwik Trip on 2508 Main St. in Cross Plains for the Tuesday, June 3, 2025, drawing resulting in a multiplied prize of $100,000!
The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (16-24-29-36-45) and the Mega Ball (13).
The Cross Plains Kwik Trip has sold two big winning tickets this year. In March, the retailer sold a winning $10,000 scratch ticket to a customer.
Since the new version of Mega Millions held its first drawing on April 8, players across the country have benefitted from the game enhancements. In fact, after the first month of the new Mega Millions game, Mega Millions players experienced a 300% increase in non-jackpot prizes.
Mega Millions now features a built-in Multiplier that comes with every Mega Millions play and improves all winning non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X.
The largest prize won from yesterday's draw besides the $100,000 winner was a winning $20,000 ticket, purchased at Clark of Milwaukee, Inc. That ticket included a 2X Multiplier turning the $10,000 win into a $20,000 prize.
Compared to the old game, the new Mega Millions features bigger prizes at every non-jackpot prize tier and no break-even prizes. Prizes in the new game range from $10 to $10 million vs. the $2 to $1 million in the old game.
The estimated Mega Millions jackpot for the Friday, June 6 drawing is $223 million.
Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.
Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com. Players can also check their tickets using the Wisconsin Lottery mobile app, available at the App Store or Google Play.
The odds of winning a $10,000 Mega Millions base prize (before multiplying) are 1:893,762. The odds of a Mega Millions play receiving a 10X Multiplier at the time of purchase are 1:32.
