MADISON, Wis. -- Wednesday was a happy-go-lucky day in Hazel Green.

A winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at Southwest Mart on 3515 N. Percival St. for the November 12, 2025, drawing. It is the 46th time this year a winning Powerball ticket of $50,000 or more has been sold by a Wisconsin Lottery retailer.

The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (29-39-43-51-65) plus the Powerball (23).

Angie, a Southwest Mart employee said, "Now that’s something to be thankful for right before the holidays."

Selling big winning Lottery tickets is something Southwest Mart has some experience with. The Lottery retailer has sold winning scratch tickets of $48,000 and $10,000 in recent years.

According to Powerball.com, across the United States, only 15 plays of $50,000 or more were won for the Wednesday drawing.

The estimated jackpot for the Saturday Powerball drawing is $546 million.

Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two-percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com. Players can also see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery's mobile app, available at the App Store or Google Play.

Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9:00 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play, with the option to buy the Power Play feature for an additional $1.

The odds to win the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338 while the odds to win a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130.
